Guest Rooms

Beautifully decorated guest rooms are availableThe Society has 8 en-suite guest rooms available to provide a comfortable facility where seafarers can take a short holiday break.

Three of these rooms are equipped to accommodate those with mobility difficulties. Some seafarers may be entitled to a free holiday if they meet the required criteria.

Booking Information

Seafarers wishing to apply for a holiday they should contact the office during opening hours 9-5 Monday to Friday only. Upon receipt of the completed application seafarers will be contacted to confirm if they can receive a free holiday or not.

All rooms must be booked in advance. Full payment is required upon booking and this will only be returned if bookings are cancelled at least 14 days in advance of the planned stay.

Entertainment & Facilities

Our Restaurant & Bar is open to guestsShould the seafarer not meet the criteria there are subsidised rates for seafarers to take advantage of. All costs can be confirmed on request and Non seafarers may stay in the guests rooms as paying guests, and again costs can be confirmed on request.

A restaurant and bar is available in the main house along with T.V. lounges, library, and gymnasium.

Springbok Social Club

To benefit from the club facilities membership is required for a modest annual fee, guests and visitiors may take up temporary membership when signed in by a full member. There are various events run throughout the year such a quizzes, games nights and entertainment to suit most tastes. The club facilities boast a small snug bar, social room and large conservetory with terrace area, looking over the beautiful grounds.

Whats Coming Up

Sunday 6th May 2012 - Sponsored Bike, Run or Walk, 10K in local woodland, money raised to help purcahse a difribillator for the charity. If you want to take part or wish to sponsor someone call Carol, Monday to Friday on 01403 752555 (office hours only)

June 9th & 10th 2012 Charity Model Boat Show - This will be the 16th year of holding this event on our grounds. Exhibitors and Traders come from all over the UK to support the charity and raise funds. For further information email t.goacher@mswmsociety.org.uk.
This event provides a pleasant day out for visitors, with sailing events to watch, models of various well none ships on view, trade and refreshment stalls etc. Entrance fees are £4.00 Adult, £2.50 Children and Over 60's, plus a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children can be purchased for £10.00.
